  • Explore the features of an Ec2 machine



AWS offers a variety of services, including Amazon EC2 and Amazon RDS.

Amazon EC2 allows to start and stop virtual machines that run on Amazon's infrastructure. 
These machines can be used for testing and development purposes.
They can also be used in production environments.

Amazon RDS is a relational database service that stores your data in the cloud. .


some of them are 


-Amazon EC2 - This provides virtual instances (VMs) 
. It is used for running applications and storing data.

-Amazon RDS - This provides relational database services and is an alternative to Oracle's products.

-Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) - This provides virtual instances (VMs) that can be managed by AWS. It is used for running applications and storing data.

-Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) - This enables you to store and access files using the internet; it's useful for backing up files or sharing large files with others.

-Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) - This provides block device storage and this allows for fast performance when accessing data stored on EBS devices

There are number of features for the EC-2 such as:

GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE-The EC-2 provides the ability to be used from  multiple locations and anywhere from the world.
COST AND CAPACITY OPTIMIZATION-The EC-2 gives the advantage of paying for what you use.Amazon EC-2 helps in scaling the amazon capacity.
STORAGE-Provides AMAZON ELASTIC BLOCK STORE and AMAZON ELASTIC FILE SYSTEM to suit cloud storage workload requirements.
NETWORKING-High packets per second and low latency with enhanced networking.
OPERATING SYSTEMS AND SOFTWARE-Compatible for all the majority operating systems in the world.

Steps Involved in creation of EC2 instance are : Open the amazon EC2 console and in navigation pane choose key pair, you use a key pair to log in to your instance securely.
